Birth cycle of a tahitian lime

Birth cycle of a tahitian lime

The Tahitian Lime is an intensely fragrant fruit. The leaves, when rubbed between the fingers exude an intense, very pleasing aroma.

Our Lime tree is doing exceptionally well and providing us with an abundance of fruit as well as leaves that can be used in cooking.

This photo shows a complete "birth cycle" of the lime fruit.

Did you know that most citrus trees originated in China?

This photograph was taken with an Olympus Pen EP-3, using an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm f2.8 macro lens, with an exposure bracket of +/- 2 EV at 200 ISO and the resultant images combined to produce an HDR image.
