Gum Trees along Hovells Creek

This very photogenic stand of gum trees along Hovells Creek in Lara is located on the west bank, just south of Station Lake Road. Even in today's rainy weather, the lighting in this little "mini-biosphere" was quite iridescent.

Today's equipment combination: Olympus Pen EP-3, with Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f4-5.6 lens set at 9mm, with 1/40 shutter speed and +/- 2EV exposure bracket at ISO 200.
